Majesty
I have come across sources that claim MAJESTY was listed as the code word for the President of the United States for communications concerning aliens related information. They refer to (MW Cooper) as the source.
This is probably incorrect. The term Cooper used was "Majestic" / "MAJIC," not "Majesty."
In Behold a Pale Horse, Cooper writes that in 1988 he saw a magazine reference to a document from researchers William Moore, Jaime Shandera, and Stanton Friedman describing an operation called Operation MAJESTIC TWELVE (MJ-12). Cooper's claim was that he already knew about this because he'd allegedly seen a list of agents who were to initiate a contingency plan called MAJESTIC that would lead investigators off the track when such a need arose — i.e., his specific spin was that "MAJESTIC" (as publicly leaked via the Moore/Shandera/Friedman documents) was itself a *disinformation contingency*, not the real secret.
The broader term family for context:
- MJ-12 / Majestic-12 / Majic-12: the alleged 1947 Truman-appointed committee from the Moore/Shandera/Friedman documents first circulated by ufologists in 1984, treating recovery and investigation of alien spacecraft.
- "MAJIC EYES ONLY": the classification marking said to appear on the documents, supposedly a security classification two levels higher than top secret.
-"MAJI": a later, separate claim (from the "Special Operations Manual" that reached researcher Don Berliner in 1994, part of the same document lineage Cooper was reacting to) describing a 1954 reorganization under the code name MAJI (Majority Agency for Joint Intelligence) with Nelson Rockefeller as coordinator, this is from a different, later document stream than the original Moore/Shandera material, and its provenance is separately contested.
